When processing is complete, the Edit Audience modal displays one of the following:
After successful editing of the audience properties, a green boxed message verifies this.
Cortex Catalog - Edit Audience modal view to confirm the audience properties update
Several seconds after displaying the green boxed verification message, Catalog closes the Edit Audience modal view and returns you to the My Audience tab.
If Cortex Catalog cannot edit the audience properties, a red boxed message communicates that an error occurred.
Cortex Catalog - Edit Audience modal view for an error during the audience properties update
An Edit Audience update error generally indicates an audience naming conflict. Cortex Catalog requires that the Audience Name be unique across all combined and active audiences, so please add characters or otherwise edit the Audience Name field.
Cortex Catalog will create a name for the resultant combined audience by concatenating Audience Name and the client/account. For this example, a successfully renamed audience from the example would be named: This should result in a searchable name that is unique across all combined and active audiences. |
Once you have revised the audience properties, select Update to advance to resubmit the updated information to Cortex Catalog for verification, or select Cancel to close the modal view and return to the My Audience tab.
If you cannot resolve this red-boxed error message and edit audience properties, contact an ADARA Customer Success Representative directly or email support@adara.com.
