Top Origin Markets
This Insight shows you how travelers search and book for your market.
First Search to Book is the number of days between the initial search and the booking.
Book to Arrival is the number of days from the booking until traveling to the market.
How can this be useful?
This report helps you understand how travelers plan their journey and your role with respect to education, inspiration, and providing important details for their trip.
How far in advance do travelers start searching?
If you add the "First Search to Book" and "Book to Arrival" together, you know the duration from this initial search until when they arrive. You likely need to be in-market with your advertising at least this far in advance, if not considerably farther.

Key Profile Insights helps you understand travelers to your market. The breakdown of solo, couple and group travelers is based on hotel data where we can see how many travelers are on a single itinerary. Length of Stay is based on flight data so you can see how long travelers are staying in your destination regardless of the switching hotels. Average Daily Rate is again based on what they are spending per night to stay within your destination.

Marketing Activity gives you a view of the overall marketing for an individual destination/advertiser. In addition to standard metrics such as impressions, clicks and website visits, it also helps you connect ad exposure to website visits and bookings. For the selected time period, you can quickly see how many of your website visitors saw an ad prior to visiting your site based on your defined attribution window. You can also tell how many travelers that saw both your ad and visited your website made a booking.
