v3.0
Cortex Catalog

8. Combine Audiences

Cortex Catalog allows significant flexibility in using the Combine Audience function to allow multiple audiences to be managed all at once:

  • single audiences can be combined with other single audiences
  • single audiences can be combined with previously combined/grouped audiences
  • combined audiences can be combined with other combined/grouped audiences

To manage audiences individually, use 6. Activate an Audience.

Use the Combined Audience Group to queue a group of audiences for the Combine Audience modal. Completing the steps within this modal combines the queued audience into a single unit which allows you to manage the union or intersection of the component audiences with one action, as opposed to managing each component audience individually. Cortex Catalog will display that single combined audience under the 5.2. My Audience Tab. See 8. Combine Audiences for more information.

Use the Activation Group to queue a group of audiences for the Activate Audiences modal. Completing the steps within this modal batch-activates that queue of audiences to one or multiple channels all at once, and Cortex Catalog will display those multiple activated audiences under the 5.3. Active Tab.

The Combine Audience modal displays over a darkened background of the previous Cortex Catalog tab. Selecting anywhere outside the Combine Audience modal returns you to the previous Cortex Catalog tab, as does selecting Cancel.

The following views relate to the Combine Audience modal view:
