JavaScript Pixel for Advertisers

Quickstart for JS-Pixel

The Adara JS-Pixel for Advertisers offers an enhanced version of the ADARA Web SDK that integrates additional capabilities specifically designed for advertisers. While the Web SDK for Data Partners serves as the foundational layer, JS-Pixel for Advertisers is a derivative, extending that base functionality to enable streamlined ad tech integrations.

In addition to the standard data partner features, JS-Pixel for Advertisers allows advertisers to piggyback the ADARA JS-Pixel to multiple Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), such as The Trade Desk (TTD) and DV360. These new features simplify integration by dynamically passing data to DSPs without the need for separate third-party tags.

JS-Pixel for Advertisers retains the core features of the Web SDK for Data Partners but adds support for triggering JavaScript or image tags—like The Trade Desk Universal Tag and DV360 Floodlights—directly from the JS-Pixel. This unified solution supports organizations acting as both data partners and advertisers, eliminating the need to implement multiple tags.

Key Features of JS-Pixel for Advertisers

  • Advertiser Support: Enables dynamic data pass-through to DSPs such as TTD and DV360 using Tag IDs.
  • Tag Management Integration: Seamlessly integrates with tag management systems (TMS) such as Google Tag Manager (GTM).
  • Cookie Support: Operates using first-party cookies, ensuring data security and user privacy.
  • Tag ID Integration: Introduces a Tag ID variable to manage script, image, or iframe tags for both data partners and advertisers.

Installing the JS-Pixel

To install the JS-Pixel for Advertisers, follow the steps outlined in the Web SDK documentation. The JS-Pixel can be placed in the head or body of your web pages and can be integrated through your Tag Management System (TMS) (e.g., Google Tag Manager).

New Requirement: Add the Tag ID as a required variable to enable the extended JS-Pixel functionality. Tag ID will be provided by Adara.
