Adara pre-approved vendors

As of August, 2024 these vendors are pre-approved:

  1. The TradeDesk
  2. Google CM360 & DV360
  3. Basis DSP

We are currently working on approving the following additional sources:

  • Viant
  • LG Ads
  • TripAdvisor
  • iHeart Radio
  • Storygize
  • Paramount
  • Warner Brothers Discovery / Max

Please follow the detailed instructions provided for your vendor. If your vendor is not on the approved list then see: How to get my log source approved

Data feed setup - The TradeDesk

  1. As an Advertiser (or Agency) contact your TradeDesk (TTD) account manager and ask for a REDS impression feed to be delivered to Adara. The feed needs to be impressions and delivered via an AWS S3 bucket
  2. When the TTD rep confirms your request, inform your Adara CSM so that we can monitor the data feed and confirm when your log data has started to come in to Adara’s systems
  3. Inform your Adara CSM of the campaign start and end dates
  4. Once the log data has started to come into Adara’s systems we validate and process the data for your report, after which your reports will be visible in the Adara Impact dashboards.

TTD only retains campaign data going 30 days back. Time your setup accordingly, to make sure log files are available for your entire campaign.

Data feed setup - Google CM360 & DV360

  1. As an Advertiser (or Agency) contact your Google/DoubleClick representative and request an exposure log Data Transfer to Adara. Ask them to ensure that the Data Transfer setup is modified to include LiveRamp as an encryption partner. This is also known as adding LiveRamp to the Partner1 or Partner2 column in "Data Transfer setup." See LiveRamps instructions: https://docs.liveramp.com/connect/en/enable-liveramp-to-receive-doubleclick-campaign-manager--dcm--data-transfer-files.html

  2. Google/DoubleClick will create a GCS bucket (DT v2.0 Cloud Storage Bucket) where your log files will be delivered

  3. You have to grant access to the GCS bucket so that LiveRamp and Adara can access your data:

    1. Follow the instructions on this page https://cloud.google.com/iam/docs/granting-changing-revoking-access#grant-single-role
    2. Add these users to your DT v2.0 Cloud Storage Bucket: acxiom.dcmusers@gmail.com, dbm-dt-adara@googlegroups.com
    3. If you are using Groups to manage access to the bucket then follow these instructions: https://developers.google.com/doubleclick-advertisers/dtv2/getting-started
    4. You must directly add, not invite, the users or the process will not work. The linked DoubleClick documentation provides step-by-step instructions, including what to do if you accidentally invite rather than add. This group is managed on the client's end - DoubleClick representatives are unable to modify access. If you are not sure which Google Group you gave DoubleClick when setting up Data Transfer, contact your DoubleClick Account Representative and ask them to verify the Google Group you used for the Data Transfer setup in question.
  4. Inform your Adara CSM of the campaign start and end dates

  5. Once the log data has started to come into the DT v2.0 Cloud Storage Bucket and Adara’s has access, we validate and process the data for your report, after which your reports will be visible in the Adara Impact dashboards.

Google does not provide log data for past dates. Time your request accordingly, to make sure log files are available for your entire campaign.

Data feed setup - Basis DSP

  1. As an Advertiser (or Agency) contact your Basis account manager to start a Log Level Data request

  2. Basis will work with Adara to set up the data feed on your behalf. This usually takes 1 week

  3. Inform your Adara CSM of

    1. The campaign start and end dates
    2. How you would like your data to be grouped in the Impact UI. We can group data by one of the following columns: CampaignId, AdGroupId, CreativeId. We can support additional options upon request, but it requires custom development, which makes completion time longer.
  4. Once the log data has started to come into Adara’s systems we validate and process the data for your report, after which your reports will be visible in the Adara Impact dashboards.

Basis only retains campaign data going 30 days back. Time your request accordingly, to make sure log files are available for your entire campaign.

How to get my vendor/log source approved

When log files come from a source that is not pre-approved, there are a few extra steps to connect your log files.

Each vendor approval is unique and these processes can take several weeks to months. Once the legal and technical reviews are completed, we can provide a more accurate development timeline

Once the vendor pre-approval is completed, we can start onboarding your log data

Technical Review

Engineers from your vendor and from Adara have to evaluate the log files and the data connections the vendor offers.

In order to expedite the technical review, please forward to your vendor Adara’s Getting Started

Legal Review

Your Vendor and Adara usually have to sign a contract that govern the details of the data exchange (privacy, security, permitted use, etc.)
